What can I tell you that I haven’t already said? Nothing. My life is at a stand still. Never moving forward. Always staying in the same spot. I have nothing new to share with you, or be excited about. Everyday I sit in the same room I have had since I was seven. Fading pink walls that rattle when the wind is just a little too strong. Slanted floors. Peeling paint. Dust and cobwebs...

Entry 22
Hello! It has only been, like 2 months since I was last on here. But hey, what can I say? Not a whole lot actually. After I started working in November and all of December, I got really fraekin busy and tired. Like tired all the time kind of tired. I was so dead I didn’t know what to do with myself. It sucked.
It’s been so long since I have written anything, I miss it a lot. I have...

30 Questions About NaNo 2011
Day 30 - Share a link to either your NaNo profile or a location on the internet where your story can be found. If someone offered to beta read for you, would you be willing to do the same for them during the subsequent editing process?
I would be willing to let someone read it when it is done. It is currently not done yet, even as I am so close to 50,000 words. When it is ready to be read I will...

I am very satisfied, as I have never written this much all at once before and yet I am still panicked because I am no where near being done. I need to just sit and write and get it done.

30 Questions About NaNo 2011
Day 26 - Was any research involved (historical or otherwise) in your NaNo prep?
Yes, a bit actually. Much more then last year. I wanted to make sure I had everything as right as I could because the story was to be set in the present time.

30 Questions About NaNo 2011
Day 25 - What are the names of at least two of your main characters? How did you choose their names?
Cynthia Wilde was a name that came to my head. I wanted it to sound ‘old’ if that makes sense.
Scott King is a history teacher I had in highschool, and he is the complete opposite of the character in my story.

Day 21 - With about 10 days left to this arguably traumatic experience, what are your plans and goals for your novel, should you successfully complete it?

30 Questions About NaNo 2011
Day 18 - Who is the antagonist in your novel? What drives their actions?
I guess you can say the character of Scott King is the antagonist. He is an evil man. And I think his arrogant attitude causes his actions. Mixed with a fat head from fame and money hidden behind a pretty face.

No they do not.
It is bad that I'm already getting sick of this...

Does that count?
Do all the words have to be for the same story or is just writing anything in general that counts?

I started one of these today. It was nice to write something that wasn’t NaNo related. Sometimes I forget that there are other things going on in my head, and they need to get out. If you feel this way then go do it too. You’ll be surprised what you come up with.
Well, writing group attempt one was... okay?
It only ended up being the two of us. But that’s alright. We talked lots and got a little but accomplished.
I was only able to write 1000 words in almost 3 hours haha.
Oh well.
The two of us are going to meet up again next week. Maybe more people will be able to come.
Well, only one other person showed up. But that's...
Were still havin fun and talkin lots and probably not getting much work done. haha
Well, I'm here and I'm all by my lonesome. :(
I am early though. :P
So I’ll just hang out and eat my cookie.

30 Questions About NaNo 2011
Day 10 - How does your love of writing manifest in non-NaNo months?
I still write very slowly. It takes me along time to talk myself into sitting down and writing and when I finally do I find I get bored easily. I have so many stories and ideas in my head that I just get distracted a lot. And I know to fix this is to write more and get all the stories out, but I just don’t have time for that....
Didn't write today or yesterday. Shit.... That...
Well Poop.
Wish me luck

Day 9 - Have you told anyone else you’re doing NaNo this year? Who? What was their reaction?
My boyfriend knows, and he keeps bugging me about how many words I write everyday. He’s trying to make sure I write so I can get it done. I also just told two friends and they didn’t seem to react. They pretty much just told me to have fun. :P
